CBVA Green Bean 2018

Join us for our first Green Bean recreational tournament! This friendship-style tournament is geared toward recreational level players, especially those that have never played a tournament before.

Who: C Level Teams & Individuals (see Ratings section for additional information)
Where:
King School, 101 Kinnaird St, Cambridge MA
When: April 21 – 22, 2018

Rules: The Green Bean will follow the rules as described in the NAGVA Rules and Regulations.
Officiating: Teams will be expected to referee for pool play reffing assignments. Teams that do not have a trained referee will have to pay a $50 fee for CBVA to supply one.

 

Ratings

The Green Bean is a friendship tournament, geared toward recreational-level individuals.

CBVA Teams: All players must be rated a CBVA B (<70) effective Jan 15, 2018 to be eligible. Eligible B level players may not have competed in more than (2) NAGVA tournaments. Teams may have no more than (2) B level players.
Local Teams: All players must be rated a Yankee C or below to be eligible. Teams may have no more than (2) Yankee C level players. Contact a CBVA tournament representative or visit our Ratings page for additional information.
Non-Local Teams: Eligibility is based on your local city’s definition of C-level individuals.

 

 

Register

Registration begins on January 1, 2018 and ends after March 31, 2018.

Team fee is $450 for up to 7 players, with an additional $60 per extra player. Once registered, please email your roster, with t-shirts sizes to elizahughes@gmail.com. All registered players will receive a tournament T-shirt and other great swag!

Schedule

Check back here in March 2018 for a more detailed schedule of events. There will be a registration party on Friday night, pool play on Saturday, a seeding party on Saturday night, and elimination play on Sunday.
