2012-2013 Indoor season is open!
General Information
CBVA is a pick-up, or "open gym" league, where the teams change every Saturday and Sunday based on who attends. All games are played at the regular height for men, co-ed mixed: 7 feet, 11-5/8 inches. The 2012-2013 season runs from Sunday September 16th 2012 to Sunday May 26th 2013. (For summer outdoor play, see our Home page.) Play level is classified in three divisions: Recreational, Intermediate or Advanced. If you haven't been rated, you are welcome to join our Recreational division, which is open to anyone - no prior experience is needed. You are then welcome to use the rating process to move to other divisions. Individuals with prior volleyball experience can contact secretary@cbvolleyball.net and request to be rated.

Saturday Session Schedule
Saturday play is from 11am-2pm. The session is Open Play for CBVA members or guests and costs $5 (or $10 for guests).
Some Saturday sessions are Skills Session, intended to assist members to develop their volleyball skills, including offensive and defensive playing skills. Prior to a skills session we'll post the skills that will be covered, the date of the session, and its cost.
Sunday Sessions Schedule
We play every Sunday on two courts in 4 sessions, each accommodating up to 36 players, making up to 6 teams. Each session runs for two hours and costs $5 (or $10 for guests). Preference will be given to players playing their first session, or players who were wait-listed in a previous session.
Note: Sessions A and B are limited to players rated Advanced or Intermediate by the CBVA ratings committee. If you are not rated Advanced or Intermediate, or have not played in more than 2 seasons since you were last rated, you must be rated before you can play in Sessions A and B.
Ratings will be scheduled on request in advance. If you currently play in another organization with a comparable rating scheme (for example NAGVA), you may qualify to play in session A or B. Please email ratings@cbvolleyball.net with any questions, to request a rating, or to find out if your existing rating qualifies you to play in session A or B. Additional information about ratings can be found on the Documents page.
