Race for the Tiara
Race for the Tiara is an annual fundraiser featuring a friendly, fun drag competition show that started in 1984. In its early days, Race for the Tiara was held in the living room of a Cambridge apartment enjoyed by small group of friends. As time passed the crowds grew and the idea to make an impact in the community was born.
Every year, amateur performers (alongside a few professional drag queens) grace the stage and compete as they try to sway three judges and win our grand prize: the Diamond Tiara, plus $500 in CBVA league credit!
Bring LOTS of cash; 100% of all cash tips for the queens (along with 100% of ticket sales) is donated to charity!
